From our side, it was required

The customer required transportation services under the terms of logistics outsourcing (turnkey):

• Provision of pallets for the client’s container;
• Securing cargo in the vehicle;
• Preparation of the necessary documentation for crossing the customs border;
• Customs clearance;
• Express delivery.

What we have done

The logistics company Corsel has been engaged in international road transportation of various types of cargo, including alcoholic beverages, since 2008. Transportation of alcoholic beverages has its own characteristics and nuances, if not observed, part of the cargo can be lost, which is extremely undesirable for customers.

Given that the cargo is fragile, we placed the containers on pallets in the body of the car as tightly as possible one to the other, thus preventing damage to the goods. The pallets were tightly fastened with stops to avoid movement of the pallets while the car was moving. Our forwarding driver monitored the loading. His task was to check the cargo’s fastening in the vehicle, as well as the presence of visible damage to the goods.

For loading, Corsel provided its Euro-5 vehicle with an awning. This type of vehicle was chosen because it was important that the sun’s rays did not fall on the cargo.

Since this is our regular client, we receive requests for the transportation of vodka products, including imports. To import alcoholic beverages into Ukraine, the following documents must be submitted to customs:

• certificate of conformity;
• excise stamps;
• import license;
• EUR-1 certificate of origin;
• SES conclusion.

The UKT Foreign Economic Activity Code for vodka is 2208 60.

Transportation of alcoholic beverages (including alcoholic beverages) requires close attention to the cargo and involvement in all stages of the transportation process.

• Corsel put its Euro-5 standard vehicle (with awning) for loading;
• The cargo was secured by our forwarding driver;
• At the border, we issued a T1 transit declaration.
