Necessary services from our side
Customer required transportation services under the terms of logistics outsourcing (turnkey):
- Ensuring of pallets for packaging;
- Securing of the cargo into a vehicle;
- Preparation of necessary documents for customs clearance;
- Customs clearance;
- Express delivery.
What we`ve done
Logistics company Corcel has been engaged into international road transportations of different types of goods, including alcoholic beverages since 2008. Transportation of spirits has its own characteristics and nuances, non-compliance with which may lead to losses, which is highly undesirable for the customer.
Given that the cargo was fragile, we have placed the containers on pallets inside the car as close as possible to each other, thus preventing damage of the cargo. Pallets were tightly stitched to prevent cargo movement while driving. The loading process was followed by our driver. His task was to check the securing of the cargo into the vehicle, as well as visible damages of the goods.
Corcel provided a truck that meets the Euro-5 standard with awning for that shipment. This type of vehicle was chosen because it was important to avoid sun’s rays falling on the goods.
We prepared all necessary documentation in advance. At the customs border a T1 transit declaration for excisable goods, which is a financial guarantee, has been issued.
Since this is our regular customer, we receive requests for import transportation of beverages.
To import alcoholic beverages it`s necessary to submit the following documents to the Ukrainian customs office:
- certificate of conformity;
- excise stamps;
- import license;
- certificate of origin EUR-1;
- SES reference.
Customs code for vodka – 2208 60.
Transportation of alcoholic beverages (spirits included) requires a high attention to the shipment and involvement into all stages of the transportation process.
Specification of the transportation:
- Corcel provided its own truck for loading that meet Euro-5 standard (with awning);
- Securing of the cargo was carried out by our driver-forwarding agent;
- At the border, we have issued a transit declaration T1.
Corcel successfully organized a supply of beverages by road from Ukraine to Spain (and vice versa by request)
